Verily appoints Alix Hart as Chief Marketing Officer
Verily today announced the appointment of Alix Hart to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She will be responsible for all brand, digital and product marketing efforts, and overall marketing operations.
“Alix has brought a data-driven, strategic approach to marketing for our core businesses, including the digital marketing scaleup that powers our recruitment and enrollment services for clinical studies and Onduo by Verily membership,” said Stephen Gillett, president and chief operating officer of Verily. “Expanding her role to CMO will continue to benefit our portfolio as we grow recognition of Verily as a precision health company.”
Alix joined Verily in early 2021 as Head of Content and Digital Strategy and later added Chief Marketing Officer responsibilities for two of the company’s main businesses, Clinical Studies Platforms and Verily Health Platforms, to her remit. Before joining Verily, Hart spent five years at NVIDIA as Global Head of Digital Marketing. Prior to NVIDIA, she held marketing leadership roles in companies spanning a variety of industry sectors including Symantec, Best Buy and Time Inc., with responsibilities for brand, PR, e-commerce, digital and media.
