Verily Lightpath to be available for open enrollment in 2026*
An intelligent chronic care solution to help members manage their health
Verily Lightpath is being designed to be a proactive and responsive chronic care platform, which will be fueled by continuous data integration and AI.* Lightpath technology will be paired with health coaches, endocrinologists, pharmacists, primary care physicians, nurses and registered dietitians**, enabling multi-acuity support within one solution, based on member need.
Lightpath’s care modules and pathways will also be dynamic, personalized and will leverage AI to be a self-learning system to help with goal achievement by influencing member behavior change through rapid feedback loops. This means Lightpath can help them overcome barriers — either in partnership with their current providers, or by working with our advanced clinical care teams.

Lightpath will include a 24/7-available AI Coach that will drive behavior change for members, answer non-clinical questions and be empathetic and support them with addressing barriers in making the steps towards their individual goals.
Lightpath will also contextualize member history and status for care teams to provide personalized care at scale.
Evidence-based care
Verily Onduo clinical quality
Proven chronic care outcomes
Lightpath is an evolution of Verily Onduo virtual care management for chronic conditions, building off its best practices and learnings, and designed to be reflective of its successes, such as demonstrated outcomes. A peer-reviewed, 4-month study of Verily Onduo with intermittent CGM use in adults with type 2 diabetes showed meaningful glycemic improvements. Other improvements in metabolic health parameters were also observed, including weight‡, total cholesterol and blood pressure.1
Image: 2.4% A1C decrease in high-risk participants (avg.), 2.4 hours per day increase in time in target blood glucose range (avg.), 4.4 mmHg reduction in systolic blood pressure (total, avg.), 16.6 mg/dL decrease in total cholesterol (avg.) and 9 pound weight loss (avg.).
