So communities can prepare for and prevent the spread of infectious diseases
And help you stay informed
With real-time monitoring
At HLTH 2024
Verily is conducting wastewater testing so that Clark County public health can measure the concentration of pathogens in community wastewater at HLTH and the surrounding Las Vegas area, from one week before to one week after the event.

Information provided on this dashboard is part of a pilot project for daily wastewater testing. Data has been collected from a population source in the Las Vegas and the surrounding area and may not reflect disease transmission in the broader community. For purposes of this project, the Southern Nevada Health District (the local health authority for the area of where the data was measured) provided information about the pathogens on this website and direction for when high concentration levels are present. Please look to your local health authority for information on what to do about pathogen concentrations in your own community.

About this data
Pathogen data will be updated to this site daily approximately around 11:30 am PST for two days before. The data prior to October 13, 2024, were collected as part of the WastewaterSCAN / SCAN project, a partnership between Stanford University, Emory University, and Verily funded philanthropically through a gift to Stanford University.
Wastewater from Las Vegas is routinely monitored through the participation of the Clark County Water Reclamation District in various programs including the CDC National Wastewater Surveillance System and WastewaterSCAN, for which Verily provides logistics and lab services.
