Baseline COVID-19 Research Project
Building a research community of engaged participants to aid scientists in the fight against COVID-19
What is the Baseline COVID-19 Research Project?
The Baseline COVID-19 Research Project is an effort to drive research contributions for developing treatments, antibody testing, and vaccines. The project is open to anyone 18 and over who is interested in making a direct impact on the fight against COVID-19.
How are you making it happen?
Individuals who are interested in helping our scientists fight COVID-19 can join our Baseline COVID-19 research community and participate in specific studies led by the Project Baseline team. This includes:
- Baseline Antibody Research, which safely collects samples from those who have tested positive to identify the immune response to COVID-19
- COVID-19 treatment and vaccine studies
- The collection of informational surveys and health histories through the Baseline portal
We plan to launch additional studies in the near future to support the industry-wide effort to learn more about COVID-19 quickly, drive targeted treatments, and support our communities with best health practices.
Research is in the DNA of our company, and through Project Baseline, we’re also contributing to broader industry efforts. For example, the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s HERO Registry, a large national community of healthcare workers, is using the Baseline platform as its technology base for the registry and clinical trial.
