Precision Medicine Initiative

What is All of Us?

The All of Us Research Program (formerly the Precision Medicine Initiative® Cohort Program) is a landmark longitudinal research study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It aims to engage 1 million or more U.S. participants to improve the ability to prevent and treat disease based on individual differences in lifestyle, environment and genetics.

How are you making it happen?

The Data and Research Support Center has been awarded to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, working with the Broad Institute and Verily. This center will acquire, organize and provide secure access to the diverse datasets secured during the study. These organizations will also provide research support for the scientific data and analysis tools for the program. The community of researchers can propose studies using this information, and use the data to make discoveries and insights around different correlations in the comprehensive data set.
